Un train de banlieue a déraillé à New-York tôt dans la matinée dimanche faisant 4 morts et plus de 60 blessés. Le train sur la ligne Metro-North qui avait environ 150 personnes à bord, a déraillé à l'approche de la gare du Bronx. C'était son dernier arrêt avant l'arrivée à destination du train au Grand Central Terminal de Manhattan.
