Lundi, le président par intérim égyptien, Adly Mansour, a annoncé le projet d'amender la constitution et d'organiser des élections présidentielles et parlementaires d'ici la mi-février. Mardi, il a nommé un premier ministre et un vice-président. Ces étapes sont censées indiquer un retour à la démocratie après le renversement du président Mohamed Morsi la semaine dernière.
